The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Crypt of Santa Reparata, Brunelleschi's Dome, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistry and the Opera del Duomo museum are part of this great monumental complex, a selection of unmissable places for those arriving in the city.

In 1296 the Fabbriceria del Duomo di Firenze was founded by the Florentine Republic to supervise the construction of the cathedral and, still today, it is responsible for its conservation.

Our guide will explore with you the magnificent giant vault of the Dome. Once you learn how amazing its construction was, you will appreciate it even more. During the ascent, you'll admire the frescoes by Vasari right under the Cupola and appreciate the majestic cathedral interior from a unique point of view. Once at the top of the Cupola, you'll enjoy the view of all of Florence and the surrounding countryside and feel the fresh air of Tuscany.

We will visit also the Baptistry and the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, which cherishes the original Golden Door, the Maddalena by Donatello, the Pietà by Michelangelo and many other works of the Renaissance.
