Deluxe cooking course in Florence

The experience takes place in a beautiful historical palace located in the heart of Florence.

The 17th-century building has a wonderful historic dining room with a vaulted ceiling, where the cooking school is housed. Various cooking classes are held at this place every day. In these rooms, you can experience the joy of true and authentic Italian cuisine, thanks to an experienced chef who will guide you every step of the way to create a complete four-course menu. During your cooking course, you will literally get hands-on experience, cooking a complete menu including an aperitif, a first course of fresh pasta with a typical sauce or, depending on the season, delicious stuffed ravioli. Next, you will prepare a second course of meat and, to end your experience on a sweet note, a delicious dessert. A typical menu might consist of:

• Appetizer: eggplant pie
• First course: ricotta and spinach ravioli
• Second course: chicken with peppers
• Dessert: panna cotta

All raw materials are very fresh and purchased daily by the chefs, so as to ensure the highest seasonality of the products and the highest quality of the dishes that will be prepared by you. Your task will be solely to listen to the secrets behind the preparation of each dish, replicate it and cook these precious ingredients together with your chef. The atmosphere will be professional but friendly, almost like being at home, and will make you feel like a real chef.

You will learn all the secrets of the pros and discover new details of Italian cuisine that you did not know and take home with you. Not only will you experience the “hands-on” part of cooking, but you will also have the opportunity to taste the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by water and Tuscan wine. Through this experience, you will learn to appreciate Italian culinary specialities, but more importantly, you will learn all the steps to recreate them at home to amaze your family and friends. At the end of the experience, the Cooking Academy will also provide you with all the recipes, which you will be able to jealously guard and reproduce, so that you will always have a tangible reminder of your Deluxe Class!
