The historic building of Palazzo Ricci hosts the permanent collection of the Warriors and Artisans exhibit (in Italian, called "Guerrieri ed Artigiani"), which displays a wealth of archeological finds that chronicle the area, from the prehistoric to the medieval ages.The objects displayed were found during digs that were carried out in various areas throughout the municipality of Pomarance and around the Rocca Sillana (the most important medieval castle and complex in the area, which is located between Florence, Volterra and Siena).In the main gallery, or pinacoteca, there is also a library, a photographic archive and audiovisual and multimedia material.
