In Lusuolo Castle in Mulazzo the stories of Tuscan emigrants are on display

The Museum of Emigration of the Tuscan People, located inside Lusuolo Castle in Mulazzo, Lunigiana, was created with the intention of raising awareness and appreciation of the phenomenon of Tuscan emigration in the world.
The "Gente di Toscana” (People of Tuscany) exhibition  gathers together the stories of those who felt the need and desire to set off for distant lands, enriched by objects and documents of the time and animated by showing highly emotional video documentaries.

The itinerary consists of 66 panels, divided into eight sections, made up of photographs and drawings as well as letters, passports and stories that tell us about the Tuscan people’s contribution to the construction - not only material but also cultural and social - of their adoptive countries.

The museum also has a library, a media library, a conference room and a space for viewing or listening to audiovisuals.
