Chianti Sculpture Park

Enhancing Siena’s territory

Castelnuovo Berardenga
This park-museum was opened with one main objective in mind: to enhance the typical landscape and contemporary heritage of the territory surrounding Siena by integrating art and nature thanks to sculptures created by 22 artists from all over the world. On a stroll though this uncontaminated woodsy area, visitors can appreciate oaks and holm oaks, while admiring the imposing works of eco-art that were specifically created for this precise space. One particularly noteworthy sculpture by Turkish artist Kemal Tufan is made from volcanic lava, while English artist Jeff Saward created an incredible 80-meter glass labyrinth. The ‘Limes’ installation by German sculptor Johannes Pfeiffer will also be deeply appreciated along with a glass rainbow created by Federica Marangoni.
