Visitors are sure to enjoy the museum-laboratory which has recently been established by the Center for Historical Ethnographical Documentation of the Val di Bisenzio. This permanent exhibition is called ‘From the mill to the factory: spotlighting agricultural civilization’. It showcases a series of objects from the 1800s and early 1900s which are linked to the traditional work activities which have always characterized the Val di Bisenzio. The museum is equipped with a didactic workshop that hosts audio-visual materials and an electronic archive that allows for in-depth study of the issues presented. Visitors are welcome upon request.
