Prato Estate

The events of the Prato Estate 2026 festival kick off at the beginning of June. Over 100 events are on the bill, including movies, plays, concerts, workshops, exhibitions for audiences of all ages in the historic center with the Corte delle Sculture(Sculpture Court) as undisputed protagonist, the green area of the Polo Campolmi, the Giardino Buonamici, the Castello dell’Imperatore, Palazzo Datini, the San Domenico Cloister, as well as the Museums of the city and suburbs, with local clubs and neighborhoods partaking in a varied summer offering.

Below are some of the proposals on the calendar:

Corte delle Sculture at 9:30 pm:

• June 29 - Marcovaldo, a spoken word and music performance with Ciro Masella
• July 3 - Umberto Maria Giardini in concert
• July 8 - Genesi del Rigenero, a humorous and enlightening show about rag-and-bone men
• July 9 - Malvax, a pop-indie concert
• July 15 - Stand up comedy marathon with 5 of the most followed comedians on social media platforms
• July 16 - Antipasti di Stagione, with 20-minute theatrical tastings
• July 23 - Fabrizio Fontana comedy show
• July 29 - Bruna è la Notte, a show blending music, songs and poetry

Castello dell’Imperatore:

• From June 15 to September 7 - Summer Film Arena

Giardino Buonamici at 9:00 pm:

• July 4, 10 and 17 - Buonamici Jazz concerts
