From September 17 to 20, Pistoia Medioevo 1322 - Tempus Pacis, an event dedicated to the city’s medieval history, will showcase encampments, parades, performances, activities for adults and children, plus local producers of high-quality goods.

September 17
- 5:30 pm, San Jacopo in Castellare – Welcome remarks and talks on Books from the Middle Ages
- 7:30 pm – Medieval aperitif
September 18
- 7:30 pm, Pistoia Sotterranea – SottoPistoia Medioevo: tour, aperitif-dinner, book presentation of Con l’Arte e Con l’Inganno, edited by Simone Venturi, plus a performance by Mago Marchese (€20 per person)
September 19
- 3:30 pm – Parade from Piazza San Francesco to Piazza Duomo
- From 4:00 pm – Medieval and Renaissance dances, juggling, drumming, guided tours, stilt walkers, historical fencing, flag-throwers and musicians, living chess, falconry, along with performances by the participating groups
- 8:00 pm – Medieval banquet with show (€35 per person)
- 11:00 pm – Closing time and curfew
September 20
- 9:30 am – Volley fire with Arquebuses and the start of activities
- 9:50 am – Mission to Save Pistoia from the War, a treasure hunt for children ages 6 to 12
- 11:00 am – Falconry
- 11:10 am – Parade from Piazza San Francesco to Piazza Duomo
- Noon – Reenactment of the peace treaty between the army of Castruccio and the people of Pistoia, led by Ormanno Tedici
- Afternoon – a Medieval trial, dances, jesters and jugglers, guided tours, drummers, historical fencing, flag-throwers, musicians, armigers, sword fights, falconry and a life-size Game of the Goose
