Estate a San Salvi

One of the most interesting summer events in Florence is undoubtedly ‘Estate a San Salvi’, organised by Chille de la Balanza in the charming pavilions of Florence’s former psychiatric hospital.

The programme begins in June and runs throughout the summer, including a traditional concert on 15 August.
There are three events scheduled for June:
Scenes from the Master’s Funeral by Dario Fo – 2 June (in Italian) 
Once Upon a Time… the Asylum – an evocative night-time walk through the pavilions – 9 and 10 June (in Italian)
You Choose the Film – 16 and 17 June, on the theme of Palestine
