The White Queen: a Vernaccia tasting

Surrounded by the stunning natural and artistic setting of Fattoria La Torre WineArt Boutique, you will be guided through a tasting experience designed to reveal the nuances of Vernaccia di San Gimignano.

This noble and historic grape variety is the only white DOCG wine in Tuscany and the first DOCG wine in Italy. Fattoria La Torre produces it in four different interpretations, from the fresh and mineral Vernaccia “La Villa” to the complex and enveloping Vernaccia Riserva “Sciallebianco”, including the “Acquaiole” selection, presented through a mini vertical tasting of the 2021, 2022 and 2023 vintages, and Vernaccia “Carrobacco”.

The wines are accompanied by four different types of cheese, carefully paired to enhance their distinctive characteristics.
