Zip around the scenic spots of Chianti like a local with a half-day guided tour

Join us and other adventurers in our office in the heart of Chianti, not far from San Gimignano. Your tour leader will make sure you feel comfortable riding the Vespas before you leave.

We will cycle along quiet roads through the beautiful hills near San Gimignano, surrounded by vineyards, trees and charming Tuscan houses. We will stop in front of beautiful views perfect for taking photos, we'll listen interesting stories about the area and its famous wine.

Our main stop is a fantastic winery overlooking the vineyards. Enjoy a genuine Tuscan meal with appetizers, soups, lasagna and delicious cantuccini for dessert. Do not miss the opportunity to taste wine, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

After lunch we will continue cycling through beautiful Tuscany, taking breaks at scenic spots before turning back. It will be time to say goodbye to our new friends once we return to the starting point.

A valid driver's license
You must be at least 18 years of age
Experienced required. If you have booked the driver option but do not feel comfortable in driving, you can choose to ride as a passenger with your partner with no refund.
Credit card for deposit in case of damages. Pre paid card and amex not accepted
In case of heavy rain for safety reasons, we will offer the same itinerary by minivan
We reserve the right of final judgement in client participation of actual scooter driving or in client being a passenger, or to discontinue scooter use at any point of the tour. No refunds will be granted in this case.

The maximum weight on the Vespa50cc is recommended at 160 kilograms total
Maximum speed of the vehicle is 48 kilometers per hour on flat roads / 15 kilometers per hour on hills
The height of the saddle from the ground is 81 centimeter. Not recommended for people smaller than 1,60meter

Cancellation
and no-show policies

For cancellations communicated in writing to info@tuscanyonwheels.com within at least 2 (two) days/ 48h prior to the tour, our Agency allows the clients to receive a full refund of the amount paid less 10% administration fees.
No refund will be possible when canceling the reservation of the tour/activity with less than at least 2 (two) days notice/ 48h prior to the booked excursion date.
No refund will be given to those clients who do not show up at the correct departure time and point, or to those who lose contact with the guide and therefore do not complete the excursion.
It is the passenger's responsibility to get in touch with the Tour Operator if running late to the meeting point or if you can’t find the guide in order to assist you as much as possible. If you miss the tour, no refund will be possible. If the customer wishes to reschedule the same-day tour to a different date, the full amount of the tour must be repaid.
The passenger is always due to the meeting point 15 mins/20mins before the departure
No refunds will be made in respect of any unused portion of a ticket or partially completed trip.
