Puccini Museum: a journey through Puccini's universe
Explore Puccini's birthplace and the Turandot exhibition with a guide
Discover the artistic legacy of the great Maestro in the heart of Lucca.
The Puccini Museum offers an immersive experience through dedicated guided tours: in Italian every Saturday and the third Sunday of the month, and every Friday from June to September, a tour in English is available.
From April 24th to November 1st, the museum is enriched with the extraordinary exhibition celebrating the centenary of Turandot, allowing visitors to admire unique memorabilia related to the unfinished opera.
This approximately one-hour journey through the history of music, included in the ticket price, reveals private anecdotes and compositional secrets of the famous Tuscan composer in an hour of pure emotion.
Reservations are strongly recommended to guarantee a place on this artistic journey.
Ticket office: Piazza Cittadella 5, Lucca.
The Museum is situated on the second floor of a listed historic building.
The entrance to the building is equipped with a ramp. The Museum has a stairlift available for use by people with mobility impairments; use of the stairlift must be booked – at least two days before the visit – at the ticket office.
Please note that two of the museum’s galleries are not accessible to people with mobility impairments. The inaccessible rooms can be visited virtually via a tablet featuring multimedia content.
The tablet also includes a video tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS) for a guided tour of the museum (the standard tour – which does not include temporary exhibitions) designed for deaf visitors.
Use of the tablet is free of charge for people with disabilities.
The museum offers a free audio guide – in Italian and English – which can be downloaded via a QR code.
