Welcome, let’s your adventure begin…this is a half-day experience from 9:30 to 14:00.
Start your experience from Florence, right from your hotel then you head towards the Tuscan charming countryside to meet the chef at our location where you will feel at home.
The cooking class takes place in a charming family home, hosted within a villa in the heart of the renowned Chianti Classico wine region.
Immerse yourself in the warmth of Italian hospitality and learn the art of authentic home cooking in a quiet, idyllic environment, you will choose what to cook with the chef, preparing a menu suited to your wishes.
Don’t forget that we can customize your experience with some hiking or biking to get a little sweaty before lunch.
You can also choose the “private experience”: privacy makes it even more exclusive and intimate!

Cancellation
and no-show policies
- Out of the Box Florence retains 10% of the total amount for the management of the booking itself.
- Customers will receive a refund or credit if the experience is canceled with at least 48 hours notice, minus 10%.
- Customers will also receive a refund or credit if the event is canceled by the operator due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
- The booking costs applied by the booking portal are non-refundable. Customers can contact us by phone to cancel or ask for information about it.
- A no-show will be charged at full price.
- The “private experience” or “customised experience” is fully refundable (always exclued the 10% due to booking management) only if the cancellation or the modification of the booking(s) is asked 15 days prior the experience.
If it happens later (less than 15 days to the scheduled departure), Out of the Box Florence will keep 50% of the booking.
In any case the transaction costs and the 10% managing costs are always excluded.
Multi-days:
- The multi-days tours follow the same principals of the day experiences refund policy, minus all the cost already incurred to prepare, manage and organise the tour involved in Hotels, bus, wine and food tastings and any other aspect involved in organising and providing the service/tour booked.
To make the process as smooth as possible for the both sides these the tariffs applied for a cancellation to a multi-days tours :
If you cancel your own private or customised tour *:
59 – 48 days before the trip – we charge 25% of the tour price
47 – 37 days before the trip – we charge 40% of the tour price
36 – 22 days before the trip, we charge 80% of the tour price
15 days or less before the trip, we charge 100% of the tour price
* please note that certain arrangements may not be modified after confirmation and any change or cancellation may result in a cancellation fee of up to 100% of this portion of the arrangement in addition to the above charge, regardless of when the trip is canceled.
We believe that completely unpredictable events can lead to cancellation. Therefore, we strongly advise you to take a travel insurance to protect yourself from losing money if you need to cancel. You will be informed of the exact amount of any cancellation fee before the cancellation is finalised.
