Montecarlo, trek & chocolate
Beautiful hike in the area, in conjunction with the mouth-watering event "Montecarlo Chocolate"
We will begin the tour by discovering the most characteristic corners of the prestigious village, such as the Cerruglio Fortress and the collegiate church of Sant'Andrea. After that, we will cross the hilly countryside, enjoying amazing panoramic views of Pizzorne heights.
Following a loop itinerary, we will admire the Montecarlo DOC vineyards and olive groves before arriving at the famous "quercia delle streghe" (witches' oak), which will not fail to amaze us.
We will see small rural hamlets with elegant patronal houses. We will marvel at the views of the Apuan Alps that will open up in the last part of the route until we return to Montecarlo, where we will stop for the event "Montecarlo Chocolate": an exhibition market of artisan chocolatiers and their fine products, and art exhibitions in the streets of the village.
Finally, we will visit the garden of the Pellegrini Carmignani Institute, which hosts the tasting space dedicated to Montecarlo DOC wines, Vin Santo, and sweet wines from local wineries paired with chocolate in collaboration with FISAR Montecarlo.
