A simple, relaxing horseback ride, perfect if it’s your first time. From the riding arena in Calci, we set off alongside the Zambra stream, among lush greenery and easy trails. The route leads to the Certosa di Calci, one of Tuscany’s most important monumental complexes, rising majestically among the hills.
Arriving on horseback lets you admire its elegance from the outside before heading back along a path through woods and quiet areas, ideal for soaking up nature’s slow rhythm. This experience is designed for those who have never ridden: the horses are used to beginners, and the whole route is done with a ground instructor assisting you.
It’s also suitable for kids aged 8 and up, who can enjoy the beauty of Monte Pisano in total safety. No special skills or technical gear needed: long pants and comfortable shoes are enough. During the excursion, the guide will take a few souvenir photos with a phone and share them at the end.
