The Christmas train is back in Arezzo on December 14th!
Join aboard on authentic historic trains from the 1920s: the iconic 1928 Centoporte coach with wooden seats and a splendid 1921 first-class coach in red velvet. A unique experience, perfect for families and enthusiasts.
The magic begins on the train
Kids bring your letter with you! Each boy and girl can write a wish for themselves and one for the world, and post it in the special mailbox on board.
Santa Claus and his elves will hand out sweets and small gifts along the journey.
Programme and path:
You choose how to spend your day:
9:45 AM – Meet and check tickets at the Arezzo station
10:00 AM – Departure of the historic train (platform 1)
10:20 AM – Arrival in Subbiano, where you can get off to visit the village with a local guide
10:30 AM – Departure for Bibbiena
11:00 AM – Arrival in Bibbiena and a short stop
11:30 AM – Return to Subbiano and Arezzo
12:00 PM – Stop in Subbiano to pick up passengers
12:30 PM – Return to Arezzo to join the Christmas market.
Timetables are subject to change due to traffic requirements. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
Fares (return ticket on a historic train)
- Adults in regular seats: €28
- Adults in 1st class: €35
- Children 6–11 years: €15 in regular class • €25 in 1st class
- Children 0–5 years: free (without an assigned seat, accompanied by an adult)
Cancellation
and no-show policies
Booking with purchase of the travel title or package tour is subject to prior reading and acceptance of the travel conditions and cancellation policies below. In case of inability to participate, in order to take advantage of the recovery conditions provided, cancellation must be communicated in written form only by email to info@happytrain.it no later than 7 days before departure. No requests outside this deadline or received on other channels outside the official email address will be considered. No derogations from these conditions are provided for in any case. The refund is made within 7 days following the date of operation of the tourist train.
In case of cancellation of the train by the organization due to force majeure, the reimbursement is full, with only the costs of managing the reservation being withheld (€ 2 per person). For full details follow the link below.
