Experience a scenic self-guided e-bike tour along the stunning Maremma coastline, through the unspoiled nature of the Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve.

On the day of the experience, meet at our e-bike rental in Portiglioni (GR), where you will receive your bike and a short briefing on controls, assistance levels, and safety tips before setting off.
The route follows an 18 km coastal loop with 400 meters of elevation gain, mostly on smooth dirt tracks between Puntone di Scarlino and the Bandite area. A few short steeper sections add variety, but the tour remains enjoyable and accessible, especially with an e-MTB.
Along the way, you will ride through Mediterranean scrubland, surrounded by cork oaks and strawberry trees, with beautiful open views over the Gulf of Follonica. The route also leads to some of the most iconic beaches in the area, including Cala Violina and Cala Civette, perfect for a relaxing break or a refreshing swim. Seasonal kiosks are available along the way for drinks and light refreshments. Please note that Cala Violina may require booking or have limited access during the summer (June 1 – September 30).
This tour is ideal for a relaxed half-day outdoor experience. In the quieter and less serviced sections, we recommend bringing water, a snack, and a fully charged phone, so you can enjoy the ride with complete peace of mind.

Cancellation
and no-show policies
- Free cancellation: you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour start time.
- Late cancellations: for cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time, or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
- Date changes: date changes are not possible. If needed, you must cancel according to the terms above and make a new booking (subject to availability and current prices).
- Extras: bookings for extras (bike and accessory rental, tastings, light lunch, other services) follow the same rules as the tour: full refund up to 24 hours before; within 24 hours of the start time or in case of no-show, the full amount is forfeited.
- Weather and trail conditions: in case of bad weather or unsafe conditions (alerts, closures, restrictions), the tour may be cancelled for safety reasons. In these cases, a refund will be issued according to the rules above; any services already started/provided are non-refundable.
- How to cancel: cancellation must be requested via the channel indicated in the booking confirmation (email/WhatsApp/phone). The time the request is received is the one that counts.
