Full-day guided tour to admire the places of the great composer, cycling from the city of Lucca
An itinerary that starts from the historic center of Lucca and winds along the river to the open countryside. As a point of arrival, the lake of Massaciuccoli awaits us, today a protected naturalistic oasis, particularly important for birdlife and for marshland plants.
In addition to nature, centuries of history have left traces, from the ruins of pre-Roman and Roman constructions to traces of a more recent era when rice was produced in the lake area and great composer Giacomo Puccini used to go hunting.
An experience to discover natural beauty, oases of quiet, and above all tales of the past that, even today, find their roots and their immortal testimonies in these places.

- Departure from Lucca in the morning. Meeting at the bike shop, bike delivery and start of the tour
- Circle route mainly along cycle paths or roads with little traffic
- Coffee stop along the way and to refill water
- Visit the naturalistic oasis which overlooks the lake of Massaciuccoli
- Stop for lunch in a charming location with a tasting of local products and wine (included in the price)
- Visit the ruins of the ancient Roman baths
- Return to Lucca crossing the small village of Nozzano, with its distinctive well-preserved medieval castle
