Strolling through the historic center of Radicondoli, at 24 Via Gazzei you come the historic Palazzo Bizzarrini, an elegant 16ᵗʰ-century building that houses the Sergio Pacini Exhibition Hall on the ground floor.
The Palazzo is named after the Bizzarrini family, owners of the building until it was purchased by the municipality the early 20ᵗʰ century. On the façade you can just make out the inscription commemorating Michelangelo Bizzarrini, proprietor in the second half of the 16ᵗʰ century. The construction retains typical characteristics of 16ᵗʰ-century Tuscan architecture, namely its brick façade, framed openings and central ashlar portal. The building served as the seat of the Radicondoli Municipal Council. In remembrance of such are 3 memorial plaques on the façade.
On the ground floor is the Sergio Pacini Exhibition Hall, a space renovated by the municipality to host painting, photography and sculpture exhibitions. The exhibits involve both local artists and names of national and international prominence, creating an ongoing dialog between territory and contemporaneity. Admission is free during opening hours, making the visit an easily accessible cultural opportunity as part of an exploration of the medieval village.
