Relais Pacinotti was born from the careful restoration of an ancient building located in the heart of the historical centre of the city. It is near Via S.Maria, an elegant and historical street that connects Piazza dei Miracoli, with its famous Leaning Tower, to the Lungarni, promenades along the Arno river. The building was bought by Pietro Pacinotti, brother of the famous scientist Antonio Pacinotti, the inventor of the dynamo, and it was taken over by the current owners through his daughter Caterina. The idea of the managers is to combine modern comfort with old atmospheres.
