Nestled on the eastern slope of the Sienese Montagnola, between the pristine woods and the luxuriant nature of Riserve Naturali dell’Alto e Basso Merse, "Le Macine di Stigliano" Relais arises from an ancient building, part of one of the medieval castles that used to constellate the surrounding hills in the past. The Relais has been carefully restored to bring the ancient Ardengheschi building back to the grandeur of the XI century: the original palace, owned like many others by the longobard family, is now a 4-star hotel equipped with all comforts, tastefully and gracefully decorated to keep the magic and beauty of this place intact.
