PODERE ASCIANA

Podere Asciana is a beautifully restored farmhouse comprising three furnished apartments and a beautiful swimming pool. Set in the beautiful hills of Chianti, near Arezzo, Podere Asciana is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is an oasis of tranquillity, yet close enough to major cities and small towns to be used as a base from which to explore central Italy’s cultural treasures. We offer facilities for ping pong and barbeques. There is even a pond for fishing. Siena is 30 km distance, Florence a little less than an hour and Rome is two hours away by car. In the Valdambra area immediately surrounding Podere Asciana are the many interesting castles and towns to Ambra, Montevarchi, Capannole, Badia A Ruoti, Montebenichi and Cennina. Nearby are the thermal spas of Chianciano, Bagno Vignoni, Rapolano and Saturnia. A bit further are the beautiful small towns of San Gimignano, Montereggioni, Montalcino, Pienza, and Abbadia di Monte Oliveto.
