MONTE OLIVETO MAGGIORE

Agriturismo Monte Oliveto Maggiore is a big old rustic building on the top of the hill, nearby  the millenary Benedictine abbey. It is based in Chiusure, 400m above sea level, an ancient medieval village which, from its height, closes the ring in which the Crete Senesi are set. Thanks to its position Chiusure offers spectacular 360 ° views from the sunrise to sunset. The house has 9 rooms, all with private facilities, furnished according to the Tuscan peasant tradition, with antique terracotta floors. Every morning a rich and genuine breakfast awaits guests upon awakening, complete from sweet to savory, with typical local products and viennoiserie, a wide variety of cereals, homemade jams, selection of coffees and juices. Particular attention is paid to the selection of raw materials: flours, eggs, milk, salami and pecorino produced in the best local farms. Among the common areas, a large living room with TV, a huge garden furnished with two whirlpool tubs, shaded by olive trees and umbrellas, away from prying eyes, where you can spend relaxing hours even tasting the fine wines of the monks' farm. A large fenced playground complete the property, perfect for games with friends, or as play area for children. Ample parking facilities and wi-fi available to guests.
