LE SERRE

Our Organic Farm is family business, set in the hills of  Riparbella. We produce fruit, vegetables and organic extra virgin     olive oil IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) using tipical Tuscan olives that are handpicked around the time of veraison. It extends over 30 hectares on the hills among olive groves and meadows, where goats and donkeys of  Mt. Amiata graze in a charming and quiet environment. The farm is surrounded by copse trees and Mediterranean maquis, it has a beautiful view of Valdicecina and the sea, that is only 10 km  far away.      It has small and independent  accommodations available during the whole year. It is a great base for visiting art cities like Volterra, Pisa, Siena and Florence, or for the many medieval villages of the area and for simply walking along the Tuscan countryside. Many interesting natural reserves, thermal baths and archaeological sites are in the surroundings  and Elba and the other little islands of the Tuscan archipelago are easily reachable. Domestic animals are welcome.
