LA ROSA DI NETTUNO

Residence is 50 metres from the beach in the centre of Marina di Grosseto, in the pedestrian street, which is quite busy in the summer. There are parts of the beach that are public and parts with sun beds and sun umbrellas that you need to pay to use (those parts of the beach are called “Bagno” and they usually have a bar, restaurant, area for children to play and other services). Near the Residence there are a lot of restaurants and bars. 

There is a bus stop 2minutes from the Residence with busses from early in the morning until about midnight (at that time of the year). The bus will take you to Grosseto and other towns nearby. From Grosseto you can take a train to Rome (about 2hrs), Pisa (1,5hrs) or busses to Siena  (1hr), Florence (2hrs), etc. ‘Rent a car’ would be convenient if you would like to visit many places close by in a short period, but if you would like to visit just a few, public transport would be sufficient.
