Just a few minutes from Pistoia, not far from cities of art such as Florence, Pisa and Lucca, a 1700s farmhouse transformed into a comfortable agriturismo, nestled amidst green olive trees in the Tuscan countryside, with a beautiful open fire, swimming pool and old pathways that meander through the fields. The family are passionate about providing guest accommodation, sharing their stories and memories of this place. Farm produce is available for purchase on site (extra virgin olive oil and seasonal fruit and vegetables), and guests can also sample delicious local specialties (honey, wine, cured meats and cheese). The restaurant, open upon booking, serves a range of typical traditional Tuscan dishes. The 18th century farmhouse has been renovated using recycled materials, and offers B&B accommodation in apartments (with kitchen use) and suites. The rooms are spacious, and furnished in Tuscan style, maintaining the original structure and furnishings of the country house, with outstanding attention to detail, so every corner is different from the next. Wi-Fi is available throughout. Each apartment also includes its own private outside space with a table and umbrella for lunch and dinner in the open air, as well as access to the shared barbecue. All guests can enjoy the large garden with stunning views of the farm and the surrounding hills, and the infinity swimming pool with spacious solarium and whirlpool. The agriturismo is just 10 minutes from the centre of Pistoia, 6 km from the nearest motorway exit, and 5 km from the train station, the ideal base for discovering Tuscany, from Florence to Pisa and Lucca, the sea, the Versilia, and the mountains, with the beauty of Abetone, all within an hour's drive. Close by you’ll also find a fishing lake (5 minutes away on foot), a riding centre, the former Giaccherino Convent and Pistoia zoo (all 10 minutes away by car).
