La Bacaia

La Bacaia is a charming independent villa, nestled in the hills of Val di Chiana valley, recently restored and transformed into a dream holiday home.   This ancient farmhouse, surrounded by a large olive grove and a large garden with a lovely swimming pool, consists of the main house and the Atelier, a small annex with cuisine, a barbecue, a firewood oven, where you can have alfresco dinner under a shady pergola.  The structure, built on 3 floors and characterized by modern furniture, entirely conceived and created by the owners and local artists, has 4 bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom and can accommodate up to 10 people. It is the perfect place for families and small groups, interested to visit the most iconic places in southern Tuscany, or celebrate small weddings, organize family reunions, anniversaries, birthdays or, simply, combine work and rest in a luxury retreat. You can stay immersed in a quiet and green environment, in total intimacy, while having the great advantage of being just 1 km from the historic center of Marciano della Chiana. Crossing Val Di Chiana valley you can visit millenary villages such as Cortona, Civitella, Foiano della Chiana, Lucignano, Monte San Savino, which will fascinate you with their narrow alleys and their picturesque squares and where you can discover the creative ability of the Tuscans in the local artisanal productions.
