Surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean forest, Casale Pundarika is a Tuscan farmhouse that has been transformed into a holiday home and a center for courses and retreats. Recently renovated, it is located in a magical setting two kilometers from the village of Riparbella (Pisa), in the Maritime Hills, just a few kilometers from the Etruscan Coast.

Casale Pundarika is a place of peace, quiet and contemplation, ideal for those who wish to leave behind the stress, bustle and noise of daily life and surrender to the sounds of nature. It was formerly a Buddhist center and was chosen precisely for the exceptional quality of the surrounding silence and the purity of the air, which made it an ideal place for meditation.

The house is in a secluded position, ensuring maximum privacy and tranquility for our guests. However, the village of Riparbella is only a few minutes away by car and can also be reached on foot.

Guests have access to a hot tub, the surrounding forest and its trails, a magical nearby stream, and a large terrace/solarium with 200 square meters of lawn, hammocks and deck chairs.

The property includes seven independent apartments and two multifunctional rooms suitable for meditation, yoga or other activities. It is the perfect place to spend a holiday immersed in silence and nature. It can be rented by individual apartment or entirely for courses, retreats or group events.

Nearby, the Etruscan Coast on the Tyrrhenian Sea offers many different types of beaches — sandy, rocky, family-friendly, dog-friendly and naturist — all easily accessible from the house. This stretch of coastline has been awarded the Blue Flag for the cleanliness of its waters and the quality of services.

Within a few kilometers of Riparbella, you will find many picturesque medieval villages perched on hills overlooking either the sea or the Val di Cecina. Among them are Montescudaio, Casale Marittimo, Guardistallo, Bibbona, Castagneto Carducci and the beautiful Volterra.

The famous art cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca can be easily reached both by car and by train.

In Riparbella and its surroundings you can find some of the best restaurants and wines in Tuscany. We are located in Val di Cecina, in the northern part of the Maremma area, just a few kilometers from Bolgheri, world-famous for its outstanding wine production.

In this region, cuisine is mainly based on local products and you will find restaurants for every budget, from small family-run trattorias to Michelin-starred restaurants.
