The original nucleus is represented by and ancient tower-house of the XVI century, it has been enlarged with years and in XX century it reached the typical structure of the Tuscan farmhouse , with many constructions situated around the farmyard, the past core of the domestic life. The structure has been completely restored at the begin of 21st century, but respecting and valorising those elements and characteristics that render the Tuscan house unique: big fireplaces, visible beams, the hand made terracotta and the serene stone At guests’ disposal both rooms (2 double rooms with private bathroom) and apartments. At the ground floor of the central building there is an apartment composed by living room with cooking corner, bathroom and double room; two apartments on two levels have been obtained within the ancient tobacco warehouse: the first one composed by wide living room with cooking corner, fireplace, wide double room, bathroom and private garden; and the other one composed by two rooms, two bathrooms, day zone with fireplace and private garden. All the apartments are equipped with dishwasher, double sofa bed in the living room, satellite TV, Wi-Fi connection and Internet access. In the central part of the house there is a wide common area with a small restaurant and a kitchen equipped for “cooking class”. The products used are almost exclusively of own production: from animals (lambs, goats, pigeons, ducks, chickens ) to vegetables, to fruit. In the farmhouse is also possible to buy typical products and taste wine and oil. The whole offers a wide common area with wood oven, barbecue, swimming pool (16x6 m). Moreover, at guests’ disposal, a ping pong table and a small gym in the ancient granary. An old annex, appropriately restructured, hosts a Jacuzzi (4x1.8 m), coated of sand stone. The water, coming directly from its source, is heated at ideal temperature in order to enjoy relax moments in the calm and colours of the Tuscan countryside. In the farmhouse you can attend coking lessons, while all around is possible to go riding on mountain bike. Geographical position and proximity to major communication routes allows easy access to places of historical and artistic interest in Central Italy. The most interesting routes are those that lead from Siena to San Gimignano to the Chianti Tour, or to Assisi and Perugia or to the wine zone of Montepulciano, or to Pienza and Montalcino. In the immediate vicinity it will be rather nice to discover the medieval towns of Lucignano and the Gargonza Castle and the towns of Cortona and Arezzo. Within easy driving distance also the Baths of Rapolano For those who love sports, only 4 km far there are stables with riding school and 20 km far you have golf and tennis fields. How to reach us A1 exit Monte San Savino (AR). Turn left towards the village and follow the main road for 3 km until the traffic light. Continue straight for 3.7 km until the sign for Ciggiano. Turn right and continue for 0.5 km until you meet a dilapidated farmhouse on the left. Take the side road and follow it for 0.4 kilometres to a crossroads.
