Luxury large rental villa in Tuscany - Borgo Gerlino was previously a farmhouse and two barns, restored into a luxurious villa with two annexes - one being a separate accommodation, the other a 'wellness centre' with jacuzzi. It has retained much of its original charm but with modern fittings, including underfloor heating or cooling systems (not air-conditioning system) depending on the time of year. All rooms are comfortably appointed with modern terracotta tiled floors, beamed ceilings, satellite television and with ensuite shower rooms. The property is located on a hilltop in a gated, private estate surrounded by vineyards and woodland with extensive countryside views. The property is well located for pleasant day trips to many of Tuscany's most picturesque towns; Siena in approximately thirty minutes, Montepulciano, Cortona or Montalcino and charming villages like Greve-in-Chiant within an hour. Grounds and exteriors Garden: a parc of about 10 hectares with olive groves, vineyards and woodlands. In case of weddings or events, the garden can accommodate maximum 80 people. In an adjoining building near the pool is a SPA area which includes a Jacuzzi. Swimming pool: The pool area is completely furnished with an equipped gazebo. The large solar-heated pool (6x12 mt - depth 1,40 mt; open from 15 March to 31 October) can be heated on request with an extra charge. Please note, the annex can only be rented as part of the full villa. If it is not rented along with the villa, it remains empty for that rental period. VILLA Ground floor: Large dining room with big table and chairs for 18 guests, living room with sofas, fireplace and TV and a washbasin. 4 steps higher there is a large fully-equipped kitchen. One double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower that can be accessed also from outside. First floor: 6 double bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom with shower. Some of the bedrooms can be turned into twin-bedded rooms on request. ANNEX An annex is adjacent to the main villa and is of the same high-quality. It has independent 2 double bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower and Sat-TV. Private outdoor area The villa is equipped with a wood oven and barbecue area.
