AGRITURISMO VEZZANO

The Agriturismo represents the realization of a dream: to transform memory into an engaging and shareable reality. Gabriele, the owner, has restored houses, barns, fields, and woods of the old childhood village to offer the tourist a lifestyle made up of rhythms, products, and services linked to our territory. The purpose of this operation was to preserve and promote the artistic and historical heritage of the area, in an effort to share it not only with our visitors, but with the entire local community. 

The property is naturally scattered, and has a seasonal organic vegetable garden available to our guests. Our guests can also enjoy the wellness area with an outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, and solarium with armchairs and loungers.The houses are self-catered, with an equipped kitchen and garden.

Vezzano is a small village (part of Chiusi della Verna) located at about 800 metres above sea level on the ridge that divides the Arno valley (Casentino) from the Tiber valley (Valtiberina). This small hamlet was built around the church of Santa Maria Assunta, where Michelangelo Buonarroti is said to have been baptised. Surrounded by the nature of the Parco delle Foreste Casentinesi (Casentino Forest National Park), various paths begin from Vezzano, through which one can also reach the famous Franciscan Sanctuary of La Verna.
