AGRITURISMO TORREGHIOTTA

Our story begins with the friendship between two children, Tommaso and Filippo, both suffering from Prader-Willi syndrome. In 2018, with audacity, a special project came to life, motivated by the desire to share a unique life experience and to create a protected environment in which the boys could work and develop their autonomy. Thus was born, in the heart of Tuscany, the Torreghiotta Agricultural Society.

Today, Torreghiotta is a two-parts house for guests: a farm and a farmhouse. The accommodation structure offers 7 rooms and 6 flats of different sizes, a heated outdoor swimming pool, beautiful green spaces to enjoy nature, a bowling alley and a barbecue area for barbecues in the company of friends. The 18th-century structure, the subject of successive and careful renovations, includes two main buildings: La Villa, heart of the farmhouse, and La Colonica, converted into a residence for Tommaso and Filippo.

The farm is surrounded by 10 hectares of land that include 1500 olive trees, a saffron field, a small herb cultivation, a chicken coop and a 2500 square metre vegetable garden producing organic vegetables. The organic certification also extends to the olives, which, as soon as they are picked, are cold-pressed directly on the farm. Our reality is completed by a small horse farm.

Our goal? To make guests feel at home, offering a warm and genuine welcome.
