AGRITURISMO CORVAIA

The Farm Corvaia, which is located in the municipality of Radicofani in Orcia Valley , has its roots in the 18th century, when it was a place to rest for the travellers, who arriving from Via Cassia wanted to reach Radicofani, and their horses. Back then as well as these days, Corvaia wants to be a place for rest and refreshment for all those who wish to immerge themselves totally in the tranquility of the Farm Holidays surrounded by nature. The Orcia Valley has been one of the italian UNESCO world heritage sites since 2004. The landscape of the Orcia Valley was celebrated by the painters of the Senese School, which flourished in the Renaissance. Images of the Orcia Valley, and above all the descriptions in which the people is being depicted as living in harmony with nature, became the icons of the Renaissance and have profoundly influenced the evolution of the philosophy of the landscape.
