On April 15 in Vinci, the birthday of the famous Leonardo will be celebrated with a special day culminating in the inauguration of the monument dedicated to the Genius, created by sculptor Filippo Tincolini.
Spread among the symbolic locations of the village, the event combines memory, art and participation.

Focus will also be on the Leonardo Museum, open to the public from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm.
Leonardo’s Workshop, with interactive models, can be visited from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, while a guided tour of the museum is scheduled for 4:00 pm, to be followed by an educational activity at 4:30 pm in Piazza della Libertà.
Making the day even more atmospheric will be the Borgo di Vinci adorned to celebrate its most distinguished citizen.
