Sunday, October 1, 2017 is a day dedicated to wine, with “The Wine Merchant Tour: in search of “wine windows,” part of the program “Storie Segrete & Soavi Sapori”. The event will include a game through the streets of Pistoia and a typical Tuscan dinner at Vineria n. 4. The event, which will explore 8 buchette del vino in Pistoia, is organized in collaboration with Confesercenti Pistoia and Vetrina Toscana. These small windows were historically used to sell wine directly on the street and were installed on the facades of noble palaces. Participants of the game will be given photos of the buchette and clues about the streets where they can be found. Participants must find them and take a photo in front of each one. The winners will be given a bottle of wine offered by Vineria n. 4. After the game, there will be a brunch at Vineria n. 4 with the following menu: Pumpkin soup with blue cheese and croutons; mini-chicken hamburgers (vegetarian option available); spiced potatoes wedges; scrambled eggs; and an open buffet of sweets, tea, American coffee and fruit juices. Program: 9.30 – meet in front of Vineria n. 4 to begin the game; Via del Lastrone n. 4, 51100 Pistoia; 12pm – brunch begins. Cost (including brunch): €17.00 per person; reservations are required before Friday, September 29, 2017.
