Now in its second year, Obiettivo Sinalunga and Valdichiana Senese is the photo contest dedicated to exalting the landscape and cultural heritage of the area. From February 18 to May 31, it will be possible to participate in the initiative that invites enthusiasts and photographers to submit photographs that narrate the places, traditions and atmospheres that define the identity of this part of Tuscany.
Developed to highlight the main town and the hamlets of Guazzino, Bettolle, Scrofiano, Farnetella and Rigomagno, the 2026 competition zooms out to include entire Valdichiana Senese, also involving the municipalities of Trequanda, Torrita di Siena, Montepulciano, Chianciano Terme, Chiusi, Sarteano, Cetona, Pienza and San Casciano dei Bagni.
The competition has two sections:
The objective (or, obiettivo) is to promote the area through shots that tell the story not only of landscapes but also of archaeological, historical-artistic and ethnoanthropological assets, such as festivals, events and local traditions.
Documentary images alongside photographs capable of conveying emotions, feelings and evocations, restoring the deep connection between places and communities.
Information on how to participate, deadlines and rules can be found on the institutional website of the Municipality of Sinalunga.
