Sansepolcro is preparing to experience the 2026 edition of the traditional Festa di Carnevale, slated for Sunday, February 15 from 2:30 pm.
The heart of the event will be Piazza Torre di Berta, the hub of city life.
The afternoon will kick off from Porta Romana, where masked groups are scheduled to gather at 3:00 pm to commence a colorful and cheerful carnival parade along Via Maestra to the main square.
Once in the square, the groups will introduce themselves to the audience by narrating their chosen themes through short staged performances.
There is no ranking or overall winner, but a special award will be presented to the group that distinguishes itself through originality, creativity and imagination.
After the award ceremony, the party continues with music and entertainment, involving young and old alike.
Further enriching the event will be food stands to take a break and recharge your energies.
