Paesaggi Musicali Toscani

The Paesaggi Musicali Toscani (Tuscan Musical Landscapes) festival offers concerts of the highest quality in iconic locations within the Val d’Orcia, where the landscape—shaped throughout the centuries by the good stewardship of men—conveys the harmony of an original musical score while life follows the classical rhythms of the seasons, as if under the expert guidance of an orchestra conductor. 

The splendid and natural setting for the concerts is San Quirico d’Orcia, a town located along the Via Francigena, along with its beautiful monuments (the Collegiate Church, Church of Santa Maria, Palazzo Chigi, Horti Leonini, Borgo di Vignoni, the Chapel of Vitaleta and the medieval baths of Bagno Vignoni). The villages of Montalcino, Rocca d’Orcia and Castiglione d’Orcia will also be included in the event.

Musical events are accompanied by tastings and samplings of excellent local wines and dishes from the greatest Tuscan culinary tradition. 

The 2025 concert season of Paesaggi Musicali Toscani will run from April 5 to December 21, concluding with the traditional Christmas concert by the Siena Cathedral Choir conducted by Lorenzo Donati, organized in collaboration with the Accademia Musicale Chigiana music institute in Siena.
