Pistoia Blues – Oltre il Palco

As part of the 44ᵗʰ edition of the Pistoia Blues Festival, from Friday, June 20 to Sunday, July 27, the Sale Affrescate (Frescoed Halls) of Palazzo Comunale in Piazza del Duomo will host the exhibition “Pistoia Blues – Oltre il Palco.”

This visual and narrative journey through the history of the festival is guided by iconic photographs, original documents and archival materials. The exhibition further recounts the evolution of the Pistoia Blues Festival and its deep connection with the city.

Four thematic areas will lead visitors to discover stories and anecdotes “oltre il palco” (behind the scenes): 

• Anima su Carta (Soul on Paper) – the Pistoia Blues posters
• Dietro le Quinte (Behind the Scenes) – backstage at Pistoia Blues
• Blues in Scena (Blues on Stage) – portraits and iconic moments
• Pistoia Blues Experience – videos and multimedia
