The event in the Massa Cathedral will be followed by the Singing of Vespers
On Saturday, February 21 at 4:00 pm, Massa Cathedral will host the presentation of the restoration of the Most Holy Crucifix.
An introduction shall be given by Katiuscia Quinci of the Superintendency of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of the Provinces of Lucca, Massa-Carrara and Pistoia.
Speakers will include:
- Don Emanuele Borserini, Director of the Diocesan Office for Cultural Heritage and Worship Buildings;
- Daniela Frati who will outline the stages of restoration in collaboration with Cinzia Berti;
- Don Samuele Agnesini, Director of the Diocesan Office of Liturgy and Sacred Music.
At
6:00 pm, Vespers are set to be sung with the canons of the Cathedral, concluding the meeting.
