A treasure hunt that concludes with surprises in the setting of the Villa Reale in Marlia
From April 3 to 6, just outside Lucca, the Villa Reale in Marlia hosts La Villa Reale dalle Uova Giganti, the family-friendly Easter event that expands the historic Easter treasure hunt to 4 days and enlivens the gardens with giant decorated eggs and children’s activities.
For 4 consecutive days, visitors can enjoy time spent outdoors, savoring nature and fun, exploring the 40-acre/16-hectare park and its precious botanical heritage.
The heart of the initiative is the new edition of the Caccia al Tesoro (Treasure Hunt), with this 10ᵗʰ edition of the event being an itinerary to be followed on the map, following clues hidden in the garden and character-eggs starring in the new story, to the final treasure chest full of prizes.
Along the route, it will also be possible to admire the Uova Giganti (Giant Eggs), works of art decorated by young talents from the Academies of Fine Arts in Rome and Florence together with renowned Tuscan artists.
There will be no shortage of opportunities to stop for a snack or picnic lunch in the Villa’s gardens to fully experience the Easter weekend surrounded by green. In case of rain, the event will still go ahead, with the activities and workshops moving to the stables. The treasure hunt in the park will be held in any event.
Booking online ahead of time is strongly recommended, as prizes are limited and admissions will be allowed until capacity is reached.
