The event LaRievocazione - Oratores, bellatores et laboratores will take the Castle and the village of Lari back in time, for a day, to the early 16th century.
On Sunday, October 5, from 10.30 am to 7 pm, the village streets and squares will host scenes of folk life and ancient trades, carefully reconstructed and illustrated for visitors: tailoring, cooking, the mill, the blacksmith, as well as falconry and various itinerant characters.
The fortress will be brought to life by the soldiers, the famous (or infamous) lansquenets, mercenaries who offered their services to those who could pay the most. Cannons will make their return to the glacises, with accurate reproductions of models from that period. The interior of the castle will be enlivened by ladies, noblemen and the court officials, each of whom will illustrate a particular aspect of court life.
Possibility to have lunch at the village restaurants.
Admission: €5 - free for children under 5.
Free shuttle bus.
