Vitae in deguSTAZIONE

On November 15, the historic Stazione Leopolda, a stunning post-industrial venue just steps from Florence city center, will host the event "Vitae in deguSTAZIONE", the official launch of Vitae 2026, the prestigious guide by the Italian Sommelier Association. 

For a visitor, this translates into the unique opportunity to taste 400 exceptional wines, from every single region of Italy, and the chance to meet the producers in person and hear their stories. 

This year, the experience is even richer, thanks to four special tasting paths, through 100 labels each: the Great Wines (the iconic, legendary bottles that have made Italian wine famous worldwide); the Terroir Wines (the most authentic labels that express the soul of a specific place); the Innovative/Revelation Wines (perfect for those seeking novelty and bold new styles); the Value/Price Wines (bottles of incredible quality at an accessible cost). 

The spectacular climax of the day will be the live final of the "Best Sommelier of Italy" competition. It’s a rare opportunity to see the greatest talents in the industry showcase their skills in a thrilling live challenge.
