Santa’s Tower and Christmas Markets

On weekends in December, Santa Claus will be delighted to welcome young visitors and entertain them with his stories in a unique location: the Cassero Tower in Castiglion Fiorentino.

Acrobats, fire-breathers, street bands, storytellers, street theater, cinema, educational workshops, fantastic characters and more will enliven the streets of one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, which will be festively decorated with Christmas lights and luminous sculptures for the occasion. 

Piazza del Municipio will host the traditional Christmas Markets to indulge in shopping here and in the stores of the historic center.

On Sunday, December 21 and Friday, December 26, again within the ancient city walls, a Live Nativity Scene will be staged with many performers in faithful reproductions of historical costumes.
