The event is held in Regnano Castello, a village located in the northern part of the municipality of Casola in Lunigiana, which each year commemorates the reading of the will of Guiterno di Guido, Lord of Regnano, and the donation of all his property to the Bishop of Luni, in the testament dated 1060.
Within the quaint village, most of the inhabitants participate in the reenactment, offering a glimpse of daily life in the early Middle Ages, with the historical parade, fire games, sword tournaments, flag-throwing, dances, ancient crafts, falconers, and even a reconstruction of a historical encampment replete with camp kitchen.
Armor, weapons and medical instruments of the period will also be on display.
A range of refreshments shall be available.
The event takes place on Saturday, July 4, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and on Sunday, July 5, from noon to 11:00 pm.
Admission is free.
A free shuttle bus shall operate for the duration of the event, with free parking available.
