A program of events for the holiday season
Lights, TendAlberica, markets, music and entertainment: Carrara celebrates Yuletide with its Carousel Christmas 2025.
From Saturday, November 29, to Tuesday, January 6, 2026, initiatives are scheduled every afternoon from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.

Christmas under the Tower: Christmas readings, creative workshops, magic and bubble shows, and more
One highlight is the Albero di Natale d’Artista (Artist Christmas Tree) 2025, this year by Mikayel Ohanjanyan, one of the artists of the National Pavilion of Armenia at the 2015 Venice Biennale and winner of the Leone d’Oro (Golden Lion), here proposing a site-specific project titled La Stella (The Star). The composition of steel and LED tubes on an iron, steel, marble and mirror structure is anchored on a base designed in 2023 for the Creative Tree and hosts a different artist each year, forging a tradition akin to that of London’s Tate Modern.
