Along the streets of the village embellished by plants and flowers
In Borgo a Mozzano on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, the Azalea Borgo a Mozzano (Azalea Market Exhibition) returns to the historic center. This spring event brings plants, flowers, local flavors and many initiatives for all ages to the streets of the village.
From 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, the historic center will come alive with floriculturist stands, even more numerous this year, lining Via Roma, Piazza degli Alpini and Via Umberto I. You can buy spring plants, perennial and seasonal varieties, along with plants for agriculture or mere embellishment, along with the stars of the event: azaleas, prized for their vibrant flowers, evergreen foliage and adaptability to growing both in pots and in the ground.
Along with the market exhibition, the program also features food stands, typical products and local handicrafts, along with a playground for children, guided tours, itinerant exhibitions, games of the traditional card game Burraco held among the flowers, wine tasting along with live entertainment and other events.
