Wine tour at Montechiaro estate, in Chianti near Siena

Discover the magic of the Chianti wines, the secrets of Sangiovese grape and Supertuscans in this educational wine tour under the guidance of our expert sommeliers. 

The visit of the Tenuta Montechiaro starts in front of the 17th-century Villa, owned by the Griccioli family since 1760, where you can admire a breathtaking view of the Sienese hills. The estate is located just 6 km from the city of Siena.

After you will be guided in our original winemaking cellar, the ageing room, the seventeenth-century chapel, and the ancient millstone.

The private seated tasting will include four organic wines our Supertuscan white, Chianti, Riserva and our top Supertuscan including the rare native Malvasia Nera, paired with typical food prepared by our experts.

A unique experience to discover the ampelographic heritage of Chianti, the history of the Supertuscans and an authentic approach to organic farming.
