Volterra by night

A fascinating guided tour to the most wonderful corners of the ancient town of Volterra

An Etruscan, Roman, Medieval and Renaissance treasure coffer: that is Volterra, one of the most important art towns in Tuscany where history began more than three thousand years ago.

Volterra soars aloft over one of the most picturesque scenery in the Cecina Valley, where the town’s characteristic skyline, made of ramparts, towers, domes and castle walls, is an essential reference point. This guided tour features a by-night visit to the most suggestive places of the town: an exciting visit made in the latest hour when the shadow lengthens over the light and everything becomes mysterious and magical. It is an impressive experience and an opportunity not to be missed to discover the essence of one of Italy's most interesting historic towns.

The visit occurs every Thursday in July and August at 9:30 p.m. from the Tourist Office of Volterra, in Piazza dei Priori 19/20 at 9:25 p.m.
Compulsory booking within 1:00 p.m.
