Rovaio, the summit of the heroes
Daily guided excursion along the "path of freedom".
We walk back in time to August 1944, retracing the history of the partisans of the Gruppo Valanga and the events that saw them as protagonists in the battle of Monte Rovaio.
We follow beautiful trails, passing beneath the cliffs where the partisans took refuge while fighting for our country. Breathtaking views unfold one after another — we are in the heart of the Apuan Alps, and from here we can admire all their beauty.
Here, many men made great sacrifices. We walk so as not to forget. We remember what gave birth to our Republic, and those who gave their lives for what, at the time, was only a dream.
Notes:
- Recommended period: April to October
- For groups of at least 6 people, you can choose your preferred date
- The price per person decreases as the number of participants increases — any overpayment will be refunded. Children pay the same as adults
- 24-hour advance booking required

Day trip excursion suitable for people with good physical preparation. The path is well marked and does not present technical problems except for a short slightly exposed stretch, but easy to overcome.
